in one ot the rooms or closets there should be an opening or way to get into your attic...

Crazy Idea: scream "Oh f**k!! I left the bomb in the attic, i gotta get out SOON!!!!!!!!!!!
Serious: well first of all that is very unlikely so calm down. It could be an animal, if u can, go up there and check. but make sure you are armed. Otherwise just call animal control or something and they can get it. If you REALLY do think it is a person, call the cops to check it out!

Use the first answer, but bring grenades, a sawed off shotgun, an ak-47, and a glock. Did i mention a grenade launcher? Results may end up in a hole in you attic, but that noise should be terminated.

sprinkle talcum powder or flower on the attic floor. The next time you hear noises, go up and check for foot/paw prints.

Well, take a baseball bat with ya. You never know who or what your gonna find up there. Don't go alone either because there might be more than one person up there. Call out:"Who's There?" You get no reply then search the area. Be on alert because there might be something real dangerous and harmful.

Probally just a raccon ,I put a live trap in with a few twinkies had him in no time ,it sounded like someone was having a party ,took him to the local pond and he lived happily ever after

If it's the golly wobbles, you'll never know.
Why? Because, when you go to look, they'll get quite.
But after a while, they'll get their fill of making you go up into the attic and looking, and they'll stop.

I think you have all the answers you need here but, I would check all the openings, you should see if someone has been up there, then call the police and ask for a welfare check, tell them your story.
