I know it's a maple.. What kind- silver, sugar, norway-etc..

That would be a Silver Maple.

After looking at the photos of leaves below my guess is a Silver Maple because of the sharp indentions and pointed leaves.

The leaves are three to five lobes, but with the lobes sharp pointed and not so deeply cut as the sugar maple
