Seems that way, as Democrats were voted in to get us out of the Iraq war, yet there are way to many Scum Republicans who like seeing more Americans getting butchered and sustain Bush's thuggery.

Will since this country has a pretty equal number of Democrat and Republican supporters as shown by some of the very close elections that we have had I would say that a swing to either extreme would only be bad for Congresses approval rating.
If you are depending on the democrats to do any of the things they promised when they were running for office you should just get used to disappointment.

Actually many of the democrats that were elected to the house are conservative dems not left wingers so were not voted in to do as you wish. The answer is that the leftist have proven ineffective and to be worse than those they replaced. They have a 3% approval rating on immigration because the American people do not support the Bush-Kennedy leftist immigration bill that sought to effectively grant amnesty to 12 million illegals without actually securing the border (and trust me their is no intentions on securing them which is why they want the whole package at once not border security legislation first). The conservatives of both parties stood up to the cartel and if we had more true conservatives we would be better off. Leftist have nothing to offer except hate and a program that forces dependency on the government.

Nope. Actually it is the Republicans in the Senate that seem to be the ones in the way of getting things done. What we need is MORE Democrats in Congress, especially in the Senate. That coupled with a Democratic President and finally we will start making progress again.

Yeah, the reason Congress is pretty inefficient is that Democrats are BARELY in the majority. Republicans play a big part of the current congress.
