I am struggling to think of ever having said anything nasty in the heat of anger - possibly because I rarely lose my temper. However, I once told my wife that I was bored with our marriage - she not only forgave me but it actually kick-started a dying relationship that it still going strong 20 years later

I called someone very close to me a s l#t w h#re in a fit of drunken anger. I have no memory of it. But I have to assume it happened. I felt awful.

Yes, she forgave me. It did take several months. In a strange way, it kind of brought us closer. We've now seen each other at our best and our worst.

Just give the other person space and see what happens. Most of the time if two people really care for each other, it will work out. Just don't force it.

You don't want to read it and they won't print it on this site anyways. And no ...they did not forgive me because my anger was so intense that I gave no quarter to them. I moved on very fast from what I did, and I did not look back. It was a long time ago, when I was very sick and had no idea, nor any medication, or help. You don't want to know what I said.

I have the worst insults and comebacks because i have to take a really long time to think of something mean to say to someone, so nothing i ever say hurts anyone deeply. i guess in a way that's a good thing. just not when i get in fight.

When I was little My Friend who was Asian we got into an argument and I made fun of her eyes. I asked her how she was able to put any makeup on those little slits!! I am so ashamed of myself to this very day!! It didn't even have anything to do with what we were arguing about!! She was never my friend again after that and I don't blame her!! What a horrible thing to say to anybody!!

I was having an argument with my step-sister, and shouted something to her very personal about her past, she went hysterical. It was the situation where you think ' i want to hurt you, so i'll say that' but as soon as its said you think 'sh!t, i really shunt av said that, that werent nice.'

She did forgive me, but after 2 days of the silent treatment

Probably when I told my dad ' I dont have respect for you '. I wasnt even angry I said it calmly and and a matter of fact, and deeply meant it, maybe thats why it was so harsh. No he never forgot it nor forgave me for it. I'm ashamed to say I still dont feel respect for him. I regret saying it to his face. I didnt change what he was doing. I didnt change him as a father, and I ended up emotionaly fatherless.

Can't think of anything I have said but my mum told my sister after finding out my sister had gone to our dads wedding to the women he left mum for.

"Every day I look at you I see that bastard looking back at me!!! Not my daughter"

She is still talking to my sister but hasn;t full forgiven her.
