The Peruvians obviously need more canadian, mexican or argentinian immigrants, they don't seem to know about blaming the refs/money for their losses.... Let me know if I missed any questions posted by Peruanos along these lines, but I didn't see any when I looked.

Yeah, I think something shady happened... but it happens all the time when the home team needs to somehow look good. I think something happened for sure because the refs calls were totally off and he missed A LOT of things.
Venezuela though as a team did a good job and Peru too, but the ref should have been more aware and fair.

I agree completely.
Sometime during the game, in the 56th minute if I recall correctly, there was a surefire penalty in favor of my country's team, as well as a yellow on the Venezuelan. The idiot ref did NOT count the penalty, and it is seen in the replay that it was a 100% penalty. Pizarro's injured now, that's how hard it was. And btw, the ref was Mexican.

I saw the game...both teams weren't great and at the end of the day ...the scoreline determines the winner.
Venezuela has been considered a joke when it comes to Futbol....but they were quite surprising in the last World Cup Qualifiers......they normally finish dead last but finished 8th above Bolivia and Peru.....
