im only 11 and i have my period i want to know why

also it has to do with the chemicals they put in food these days

i started mine 3 days before my 11th birthday (im 25) and i had a friend who started hers when she was 8yrs old

girl i am 20 yrs old i had my period at 10 some girls start later and some girls start sooner like 10-11. ur not alone

girls are getting their periods earlier and earlier these days due to the chemicals that are put in our foods. For example, the growth hormones that are found in milk. There has been a lot of research on this subject.

it used to depend on when your mom got it. now, since meat(in america especially) is filled with growth hormones, humans who've been eating it since early childhood go into puberty early and more and more girls start their periods before fifth grade.

hey i got mine in 4th grade when i was 8! it's just genes and studies have shown the kids who eat meat that has been fed steriods will get it a few years earlier

Feel blessed my step daughter got her period when she was 8 and she came and told me about instead of her mother. Her mother got it very early too its probably in the genes

the diet nowadays is different. causing girls blood to flow less naturaly and out causing the period

it usually depends when ur mother had hers and ur biological clock.
