Oh no, your politeness backfired!

You are willing to sit through a meal you don't like to spare someone's feelings... I think that is very nice of you.

Tell them, "you know that spinach dish you always make for me, that I like?" "Well, everytime I eat it I notice that I have a stomach problem the next day. So, until I resolve this, don't make anymore for me."

Haha no.

If I don't like something I can't keep it to myself. I usually ask beforehand or say i'm not hungry if I don't like any of the food.

What is canneloni? I have no idea.

I ate liver and onions because my father made me as a child. My mother made him clean up the throw-up afterwards.

*points out the obvious* Tell the person you don't like it and you were just being polite. I'm sure at very least they'll appreciate you having eaten it anyway.
