are we all being led up the garden path, the focus is on the parents not the missing child at the moment, is that what they want ? no one is asking questions about their daughter because we are all focused on what they are doing , the blog the new villa the missing wallet .oh how clever they are, anything that takes away fom the fact of madeline, well wht fools we are , divide and conquer ,yea we all fell for it , the against and the for, we are all truly guilty in forgetting the main point ...THE CHILD.... well as the old saying goes ...you can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cant fool all of the people all of the time. i for one was fooled , and on that note i will never answer another question until she is found, either way x

my point exactly dave and happy murica, she is long forgotten, and now they want to fade away, well let them ,bacause they are not worthy of being lebeled with the name of being parents, as bb2002 said the parents of holly and jessica had to be sent home by police when they were searching for their children because they were exhausted, and the search nearly made them penniless, it makes me truly aware of what real parents consist of x

Never let up on this campaign until the McCanns are put on trial. The passage of time does not diminish the original crime by the McCanns.

I totally agree with the points made in the question. It IS all about the McCanns, they've very cleverly played the media. But there is something wrong here and it's so unlike the press not to catch on - in other similar cases, every bit of detail about the parents, their lives, their friends, work, lifestyle etc etc is scrutinised by the press - why hasn't it happened this time? What are the parents hiding? Isn't it odd that they suddenly stopped their tour when asked by the German journalist if they had anything to do with Madeleine's disappearance?
Too many unanswered questions and I'm hoping that the police are actually on to them and giving them enough rope that they hang themselves.

If the McCanns were truly good parents they would also be considering the needs of their other two children. The twins need to be in a normal environment as soon as possible, or they may grow up thinking that they are unimportant and the only person that matters is Madeleine. What they did and are still doing is unforgiveable, and talk about hugging the limelight, they are a joke.

Hi Dolly, I too have been feeling like giving up. It all seems so hopeless. I think we would all feel differently if the McCanns actually showed some kind of grief or did something to show that Madeleine was their top priority. It just seems like we are actually doing what they want and focusing on them when you are correct the main point is Madeleine. Pointing out to the kind caring wonderful people who are chucking money at this pair that they are being so dreadfully scammed is so frustrating. This is like a snowball at the top of a hill as it just gets bigger and bigger. I have just fallen out with my very best friend of many years because she wants me to contribute to her raising money for the McCanns. They seem to have no conception of the repercussions of their campaign. God help that child, please be safe and well.

even if they had nothing to do with her disappearance, they have ultimately signed her death warrant! if taken by someone else for the child market, she is too hot property for anyone to take on, because of all the media attention world wide, there is nowhere that maddie wouldnt be recognised, the abductor would be left with her and they wouldnt want to keep her alive with all that attention either! and how is the mother so calm, i saw fear in her eyes not the signs of a broken mother who has had her child ripped from her arms.

I don't think that you are doing what the McCanns want you to do since I can't imagine anyone wanting complete strangers to pick over their smallest action or word and, invariably, takeing it (no matter what it is) as evidence of wrongdoing.

I've read another question just now in which someone said that the McCann supporters (shorthand for anyone who challenges to hate campaign) are forgetting about the missing child and concentrating only on her parents. In your additions, you have said something similar. Funny though, it seems to me that it's you and other McCann bashers who are supplying all the so-called information about Gerry & Kate McCann and concentrating on what they are doing to the almost complete exclusion of everything else.

You even seem to have forgotten that the real offender is the abductor who took her.

Will you also promise not to ASK any more "questions" about her until she is found?

Oh dear...Am back from a trip (away from all things electronic) and so hoped that little Madeleine would be found by now. As far as her family is concerned, if the law doesn't find them guilty, i think the case should rest. Making presumptions that her family may have had a hand in doing her harm, to me, is not only cruel but also terribly unjust. Yes, i know & repeat that they did wrong in leaving their babies alone but judging them ourselves & hounding them is not the just or civilised answer. What they do & how they go about doing it (their villa & wallet & blog & visits) is totally irrelevant to their main terrible decision of leaving their babies alone & should not be connected to the case at all. The point i'm struggling to make is that they could have terrible manners but this should not be connected to Madeline missing. Its not for us to agree with their methods of trying to find Madeleine. To say that its a deliberate attempt to divert attention from Madeleine is sillier than cruel. All those who can't stand the McCanns' media coverage & "preferntial treatment" would do much better to campaign for another sad missing case to get the same coverage & treatment instead of playing judge with a grieving family. This would not only keep Madeleine's case fresh in our minds & hearts, but also the cases of other little lost ones as well. And no, i don't thumb down answers that i don't agree with.

A lot of us have been saying this since day one and all the pro McCanns have been giving us the thumbs down. The truth will come out in the end. You can't trust doctors you know I agree with Dave. I think the McCanns worked out from day one that if they stayed in Portugal for long enough , kept their heads down and waited for the whole episode to stagnate they they would get away with it. Why do all the wrongdoers get away with it all the time ? Disgusting .

for the last few weeks since the visit to the Pope it has been about the parents,in particular Gerry.
They have gone strangely quiet of late,maybe they have finally got the message from the public around the world that they are not liked.I think the next thing they will do is to go quietly into obscurity and hope we all forget about the money.allowing them to live their lives out in obscure luxury.
