lol guess i will date myself on this one, yes, her movies are like slap stick comedy, and a bit sexual in black and white, not living color!

To tell you the truth, she wasn't a very good actress. She was more of a c*ck-teaser (sorry for the wording) than anything and I believe the movie execs fell for that.
Rent one of her movies or better yet try to find an interview with her. You'll see what I mean.

this is about the 1930's era, mae west was a funny movie actress she was always swaying her hips when she walked, her favorite quote was (come up and see me sometime)

May made far fewer movies than you might think. Something like 23,
she usually plays a dance hall girl.
In real life she was a very astute business woman retiring with millions.

Old style black and white westerns. She was a curvy, sassy, sexy, opinionated woman. The movies are very innocent and campy.
