i bought a computer with cpu 2.6(256cashe) but when i display device manager i found this (processr 2.66 celeron) should i return my computer or what?

uhh no the clock speed is 2.66 ghz. the cache goes along with the processor. the cache attaches the system memory to the cpu. the larger the cache the faster the computer is. the celeron's have very low cache so its slow.

LOL no your computer is fine.

the 256 cache you are seeing, is simply the amount of "memory" available on your CPU. It is not the same thing as it's processing power, which is the 2.66 gHz. Every CPU has a speed and a cache.

I think it's displaying the same processor, but with a different name. To my knowlege it's the same thing. Also, more details would help, like processor number.
