I know the obvious; Tom Cruise, John (T)Ravolta, but who else? Why do so many of them fall for it?

According to http://adherents.com about 500,000 people are active members of the "church" of Scientology.

So many celebrities "fall for it" (1) because Scientology caters specifically to celebrities and (2) because Scientology is frighteningly adept at brainwashing unsuspecting victims.

I only know of those 2.
I have no idea why they fall for it either. I think it's a big ugly cult.
I used to live in Clearwater near the Church of Scientology in downtown. I'd see them walking around on Ft. Harrison Ave in dress shirts & ties in 80+ degree weather. Thought they were weird just doing that. Now I understand about them and think it's even stranger.
