Nothing ignorant or gross, please.
I found a $10 and $1 in a crosswalk about a week ago. No telling how many people had walked or driven over it. It was about 11PM-1AM in the morning though.

These answers are interesting and amusing. No one has mentioned animals yet. We have a problem with people dropping off strays.
Ours is one of the largest Supercenters built so far and I am amazed at the amount of trash in the parking lot. Used diapers and plastic drink bottles, make up a lot of the trash.
If it will put your mind at ease John M, I put in an average of 10 hours a day, 6 days a week and usually am not bothered by a bunch of jobless, nearly naked bums, at night.

I have merchandise mostly. New DVD's, CD's, Camera Cards, Seeds, Gift Cards, Lottery Tickets, small stuff like that that people often forget. Have not found any money yet other than the occasional penny.

Never anything of real value. Waste paper, used drink cups, plastic pop bottles, etc.
One time, daughter and I shopped together there before Christmas. She thought I'd loaded the purchases from the cart into the car, I thought she had. Then, we went to dinner, and thru chatting, realized the bags were still in the cart.
We went back there after dinner, but our bags were gone. We figured that maybe someone else needed a new hair dryer and curling iron, some fashion jewelry, and something else I can't remember. We went back in, and bought the items again. I hope someone's Mom got these things for Christmas.

All I've ever run across were used "disposible" diapers. It's always mothers I see doing the litering. They won't use the dumpster. Sadly, the older sibblings are on hand to watch mom setting "a good example". People are always cleaning the parking lot, but they can't stay ahead of trashy people.

I found a case of 24 Coke cans on the bottom of a shopping cart. I waited around for at least 3 minutes before I loaded them into my trunk!

Where is this Wal Mart parking lot? I never find anything that is
interesting: just carts all over the place, garbage, cigarette butts,
the usual. The odd time a penny or a nickel. I like your Wal Mart
better. : }

I found a big wad of money. It ended up being about 68 dollars. That was the second time, the first time was in the toy department. Probably some poor kids birthday money. I bought some makeup with it.

I live near the canadian border so on the weekends we get a lot of canadian shoppers who don't want to declare what they purchase in the USA at the border so I have found old shoes and clothing in the parking lot at Walmart.

A lost three-year-old. Imagine my surprise when I went up to the cart corral and heard crying. I took the little gal into the store and the manager helped me locate her mum.
