Any idea of live documentation of this or is it jsut soemthing doen in kung fu films? I need proof to convince my kids I am not daft.

I've never done it myself, but I'm sure it's possible- IF you get a really cold/drugged/otherwise soporific fly. Catching an alert fly in midair with chopsticks would be really, really hard and I'm not sure if anyone's ever done it. If they did do it, it would be by luck and not by martial arts skill, I don't think any human can have reflexes fast enough to aim for a fly in midair.

Once you have learnt to "paint fence", and wax a car "wax on, wax off". Then catching flies comes easy!!!

No. I just use a fly swatter or bug spray.
