Electronics and liquid just don't mix. I spilled juice in my purse a couple of years ago and cooked my cell. It had to be replaced. I think you are better off getting a new one. It would more than likely be more expensive to fix. Something to check out- some cellular companies give the phone out when you make a commitment for a certain period of time. My husband just wore his out. We had no intentions of changing companies at the moment, so they gave us the phone just for extending the current contract.

I don't think you could call that "working fine". It has been my experience with cell phones, that if you get them wet, you may as well drop them in the trash (after you get your card out, of course). You will NEVER get service on that phone again.

I think it might be your sim card.
But then again it all depends on whats your provider.
If its cingular you can ask for a new sim card and it'll
back to normal.
Only you might have to change your number.
