Pokemon diamond f/c?

does location matter when using wifi, cuz i have some friend codes and no one seems to be on but i have like 20 codes, any help? my name is Steven and my code is 2277 3731 1647

As long as you are connected, location doesn't matter. Probably, no one is on because they are simply not playing.

Your FC will be the same no matter where you are. If no one is on, then they didn't bother to write down your FC.
