I used to go through the trash in the grocery store that I worked at (no garbage) and collect the used tickets. I won over $500.00 doing that. You wouldn't believe how many winning tickets are thrown away.

Yes, and once, a very long time ago at Santa Anita Race Track, I picked up a discarded ticket that was a winner. Paid $32.40 - I never forgot that! I was 16 at the time!

Ours are like light cardboard and I recycle them, hate buying them for others as I have this uncontrolable urge to scratch them first to see if they are going to win lol :)

id pick it up and check it if its a loser id throw it away. but i dont think if some one won they would throw it on the ground id keep that bad boy safe haha :]
