Perhaps you are just not ready to learn how to drive or maybe it's the time of day when you normally get tired. Try a caffeinated beverage before your lesson. Remember that you are behind the wheel of a potentially lethal weapon and you should be awake, alert and aware of everything around you. Quick thinking and split second reaction time are detrimental.

Always remember you're driving a 3,000 lb. weapon. You may THINK you're in control, but that's when it'll bite you in the a-- and you won't be ready for unexpected things, like:
Kids darting out between cars.
A truck pulling out in front of you.
A motorcycle slowing down.
An animal running across the road.
A bicyclist losing control in front of you.

The possibilities are endless and cannot be predicted when they will occur.
If after your class you still feel you cannot pay attention on the road because you're "bored," do yourself and everyone a favor and stick with public transportation.

Just pretend you're in an actual driving test. It sometimes happens to me when I'm driving on my own (didn't happen during driving lessons though!) and it always helps when I imagine myself in a test with a driving examiner sitting next to me. I hope that helps, good luck.

Do you have the Attention Deficit Disorder? If you do that is what is doing it. If you don't know, find someone that can properly test you.

Maybe you just don't really want to learn how to drive?
