3. Helping those in need is a moral imperative.
4. Freedom is for everyone, not just those that have it at the expense of someone else.
5. Addressing injustice with the force of law. This includes acting against people doing harm to others and acting against businesses doing harm to consumers.
6. Stewardship of our environment. While we are free to exploit the resources of the planet to our advantage, doing it in a sustainable way that does not do greater, long term harm is vital.
7. Making things better in society. Yes, doing good, and doing it proudly.

LIBERALS
Liberals share a belief in individual rights, free enterprise, representative democracy, and the rule of law. In this sense, almost all Americans accept liberal ideas. So much so that it is easy to forget how revolutionary these ideas were when the American Constitution was written. Thomas Jefferson said, “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with more.” All of our founding fathers considered liberalism a foundation of “the great experiment”. America since Reagan, liberalism has been colored to appear weak and elitest and our military force is used to intervene in other nations affairs.

Liberals believe in the ability for people to make their own decisions, rather than being coerced by faith based laws.

They believe the government should run a country based on common sense and what is good for everyone and their rights.

They believe that faith is faith, not fact, and since everyone's faith slightly differs, the government should not make laws that restrict people to any one of them.

They believe in separation of church and state to prevent the government from promoting any religion over another, otherwise it conflicts with freedom of religion.

they also believe that moderate regulation of the economy keeps the economy from being a self destructive system, or keeps it from destroying society and the family by over-exploitation of the employee and resources.

Liberals believe in not punishing the good people that have hit rough times, just because of the very few rotten apples that will always take advantage of any and all situations they can.

Most of them believe corporate handouts are not what boosts an economy, because an employer will add jobs when the demand for their product is high, that is created by people having the money to spend on it.

in reality, the "lib" that right-wing extremists demonize, are anyone who disagrees with them on any issue, including real conservatives, that have been denounced as "libs" for not agreeing with such extreme agendas.

And the final thing that makes a liberal a liberal, is the idea that all men are created equal, and freedom should not be based on the size of your equity.

1. Do not like government but want the government to provide socialized medicine, retirement, etc....

2. Stand up for the "little guy" but vote for abortion

3. Want the US to enter Darfur to stop the killing yet were fine when saddam was killing 100,000s of Shites and Kurds

4. Complain about Washington's "Culture of Corruption" yet hide earmarks (pork) from the American people

5. Complained about Washington not maintaining a 5 day work week. Since the Democratic majority there has not been 1 single full work week in Congress.

A person you seem to be a little confused as to what’s going on in the political atmosphere of this country.

1. The republicans want less government controlling their lives with less taxes which means less services for the average American.

2. Abortion is a matter of a personal issue who many Republicans have supported such as the Republican presidential candidate Giliuni who is openly pro choice with a couple of others as well.

3. The Bush Administration made it clear that we entered Iraq because of the threat they pose to us with their UMDs and terrorist support. Lets face it we're most likely never to get out of Iraq even though they told us it wouldn't even last 6 months. And are you aware that more people have died in Dafar than in Iraq even with all the Civilian Casualties they USA has caused there. The only reason were not there is because the little wealth we can get out of it with there being little oil.

4. You have to be kidding me that the democratic party has hidden anything more than the Bush administration. He spent 4 times as much money declassifying files as he has the opposite. Not to mention all the wire taping.

5. I haven't really heard much of that from either side so I can't really say anything about that issue.

So in conclusion to this you have either been brainwashed by the Republican party or are aware of the lies but choose to do the brainwashing of American society.
