Hi...
If I catch a female anopheles mosquitoe flying off of my arm, and bloated to 5 to 10 times its normal size, and we're both in a closed room. Can I expect to get bitten again by the same mosquitoe, and if so, how often.
How often do they feed in order to maintain their survival energy levels; and how long do they live ?
Thanks !
Ed VA

The female only feeds once and then lays eggs. It dies after this, and does not feed again. However, her 2000000000000 sisters, cousins, aunts, and nieces will be feeding.

I think that i read somewhere that they only need one good feed to get enough energy to reproduce. It didn`t say if they fancied a good feed after though.
