Well there's a cheap way and an expensive way.
Expensive: Falador Teleport
Just buy 1000 law runes and 1000 water runes and an air staff. The laws are the pricey ones. You'll probably pay 300-400k for them. The rest are cheap by comparison. Cast Falador Teleport 1000 times, and you've got 48k experience. Quick and easy.
Cheap: Curse
Buy 1000 body runes and 2000 water runes and an earth staff. This will cost you between 25k and 60k depending if you buy from players or the shop. Cast curse 1000 times. This is not as easy as it seems, because you can't keep casting curse on the same enemy. I like to cast on the rats in the Varok sewer. They don't hurt you, and it's a multi attack area, so you don't have to kill the first one before you cast curse on the next. Anyway, when you're done, you'll have 29k experience. Not as quick and easy, but a lot cheaper.
Another expensive way is to high alch stuff. Get 1000 nature runes (like 300k) and a fire staff, then start alching. This is good to combine with smithing or crafting. You can alch those tiaras / platebodies. When you finish, you have 65k experience, and you probably made a little of your 300k back with the alching profits. Not quite as quick as Falador Teleport, because you need to find something worth alching, and the spell takes longer per cast than teleport.

I am more or less stuck at 56, also. I don't know any quick and easy way. I just mage everything I see! (Then I have to go get more runes, and it starts all over!) Lol. See you in the game!

It really depends on if you are a member. Members can level it up through Pest Control, while nonmembers are stuck to casting spells over and over.

just teleport over and over again if you are f2p, or if you are p2p, do alchemy(which gives you gp) or pest control

i buy a lot of laws and just teleport to camolot a lot of times.....
