Life sure was simpler then..I could be on summer vacation instead of getting ready to face another week of work...

Isn't that the truth. We are always in such a hurry to grow up. Then when it happens we would rather be a kid again. I wish I could always have summer vacation, guess I should have become a teacher!

Because biological changes and time will not wait... you become and adult regardless of whether or not you are ready, willing or able to.

And why should someone else have to work to support you because you want the summer off?

This is why they say youth is wasted on the young: they have all the energy, imagination and time in the world, but can't fully appreciate it until it's gone.

Before we know it, we're in our 40s with even more responsibilities, and fondly recall our early adulthood as the time we wish we could return to. Then we'll be in our 60s wondering how our kids grew up so darned fast and became parents themselves, and wishing we could have slowed the passing of time to make the most of their childhoods... and so on.

We are who, where and when we are NOW, and can't change the past... so we need to make the most of what we have in the moment and live with no regrets!

B/c as children we didnt have much responsabilities, you can still act like a child if you want but be sure to finish up your responsabilities or else you'll starve to death and won't be able to ask questions like this.

A child would not look at work as it was a pain in the ****, he/she would have fun at it just like going to school.... so i think you are...
