I like anime that
Shows character determination or the main character has some sort of "hidden" or "special" powers like bleach hollowzation and naruto demon fox
also i like anime that maybe have mecha or provide some funny materials like gundam and full metal panic =)
Also if the anime has some sort of demon w/ special power it wont hurt too

Death Note is a great series. I had never watched anime before and a friend of mine introduced me to it. She likes watching Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist so I thought that you may like it as well.
