Can someone please explain to me what happened and what the ending of Gantz means and is?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
All it made me do is say wtf happened.

I haven't seen the anime till the end, but I read the manga. The last arc is a filler arc with a fake ending. The arcs in Gantz after the 6-arm buddha arc are the little aliens arc, dinosaur arc, oni (japanese ogres) / vampire arc. Gantz: First Phase ended on a huge cliffhanger. On November 2006, Gantz: Second Phase started where the first phase ended and at the moment there are new set of rules.
Little Aliens arc explains what happens when you don't kill all the aliens. Dinosaur Arc shows the alternate option and what happens when you get 100 points. The oni/vampire arc introduce a new change to the rules, and the Gantz team natural enemy. Also, there seems to be more than a black ball....
