Yes, sad to say, but it does happen and it is NOT talked about because men are viewed as the "stronger" sex and never the victim. I don't think there are very many men that have the ability to admit it and do something about it because others would then view them as "weak". I think that any person, man or woman, adult or child, should get out of a violent relationship or, in a child's case, let someone know.
I can't even begin to THINK about hitting or emotionally abusing my husband and I know he feels the same way toward me.

Not to justify women hitting their wives at all, but the overwhelming majority of men are built to absorb/give a lot more punishment than their spouses are.
It's nature. Men are designed to hunt/gather/fight/protect. A lot of the "real estate" in a woman's body is dedicated to baby creation and nurture.
There are exceptions, but generally men are, by and large, much stronger than women. That is why you don't see co-ed professional sports teams. That's also why it's so horrible when a man takes it upon himself to hit his wife. It's a perversion of his role as her protector.
All that said, it's still wrong when women hit men, there's just a far greater risk of serious damage when men hit women.

Women are usually smaller than men so men are expected to be able to protect themselves. Men are special. They need to be treated as gently and softly as women expect to be treated. If a woman gets violent with a man the man needs to get the rolling pin out of the kitchen thump her on the gourd to let her know who isn't boss.

There are women out there who use & abuse their husbands but your right it is very uncommon for people to talk about it. I feel that no one should be abused whether it be male or female however, I am one woman who can & will protect myself I am not afraid of any man & would die trying if I came up against one who wanted to beat the living hell out of me.

Absolutely! Watch sitcoms for a week if you don't believe it. See how many times a man is abused sometimes even slapped for the comedic value.
Men have been devalued and disrespected in our entertainment. What is watched is copied.

I know of noone in this catagory, but in my generation men won't cry about physical abuse from a woman. It's not "macho". But they should! No one has the right to harm another.

I used to know a guy who was a body builder, a really big guy. His wife was like a 100 pounds and 5'2" tall. She used to be the crap out of him all the time and he just stood there and took it. You know if he defended himself people would talk about him. I felt sorry for him, but I couldn't understand why it took him so long to leave her. No one ever talks about it and I'll bet it happens alot.

I was almost shot to death by an exgirlfriend. She was younger and much prettier than me. She didn't do anytime at all. If I had pulled the gun on her, it would have been a different story all together.
