Go to bed at the same time every night.
Keep your bedroom cool.
No exercise at least 3 hours before bedtime.
No alcohol before bedtime.
No caffeine.
Make sure your matress is good for your back. They need to be turned side to side and front to back often. Also, replaced every 7-10 years.
Use a fan or other sound machine to drown out noises.
Get a room darkening blind or curtain if necessary.

Warm milk, a dark room without a TV and Most important quiet your mind and think calm thoughts.

If you are awake for more than a three to four days see a doctor you may be depressed and or have insomnia. That call for medical treatment.

Once you wake look out the window (while still lying on bed) And close your eyes...

Once you do this your eyes will be shut tight and you'll go to sleep quickly...

Your eyes will be too sensitive to ever open again...
