It depends on the service selected and your location. UPS "Next Day Early AM" delivers by 8 AM to most locations. UPS "Next Day Air" delivers by 10:30 AM. UPS "Next Day Saver" guarantees delivery by 3 PM.
UPS drivers have routes, and depending on their package load the delivery time can vary some from day to day. Generally speaking, however, they can be counted on to deliver before 3 PM. By that late in the afternoon, they have to switch into pickup mode in order to beat the clock for the following day's deliveries.
