I have 2 laptops @ home right now: 1 Mac and 1 PC.
when i have my router set to WPA-PSK my PC laptop connects fine but my MAC always disconnects and reconnects over and over again. When i change the setting to WEP-Open my mac works fine and My PC always disconnects and reconnects over and over again. What is the problem and how can i fix it so both computers work fine?

Well its one of three things. In any case it is a compatibility issue.
1. If the cards you are using for the Mac are not WPA compatible (many weren't) they wont work with WPA or you MAC doesn't support the function (check for updates)

2. WEP with your PC should work, particularly if WPA works!
Check the firmware for both the card and the router. One or the other may just need an update.

3. Your using the same IP on both units thus when one connects the other doesnt. (I have seen that if static Ip's are used).

Very stange issue but I have seen card/router compatibility before not supposed to happen but mixed hardware does sometimes to that. I have also seen USB adapters (the exact same one) do very different things on a MAC vs PC (thats a driver issue and I blame the mfg for that one.)

From a trouble shooting perspective try the following:

1) Turn the WPA and the WEP OFF entirely.
2) Check your connection at the MAC and Laptop. Are both working correctly now?
If you have to, you could use one of the other two methods for securing your network.
A) MAC Address
B) IP Address
