Men still fight in war.
Men still work and support or at least help support their family (a large % of the time).
Men are no longer suppose to be the head of the home (many homes today the wife is the head even with a man there).
Even "christian" homes men are to direct (by suggestion I guess) the family, but not to assume any authority.
Men aren't to be men.

Which "man" do you ask about? CLEARLY the white man is the most hated creature in America today. His "role," if you call it that, is to sit down, shut up, and wait to be told what to think and where to go. The black man, it would seem, can do anything he damn well pleases, because, as best I can tell, he has his get-out-of-jail-free card of lifelong victim of bigotry. He is held to NO standards or at worst, to a different set of standards than any other man. The Asian man? I guess he takes a lot of pictures and does well in math. The Jewish man? From what I hear, he runs the media. The gay man? His role is to fight injustice, to blaze his trail for equal rights. Yada yada yada.

Goofy question. Meaningless answer.

Now a days man contribute less than women in every country. The same things may be in America. They have become lazy and do not wish to work. They eat, drink and enjoy. They do not care about their families. But I think not all people but there are out of them

Generally a social stalagtite? They just move around, find places to sleep and party (unless they are on probation in which case they find a shelter and work at Labor Ready to support their petty habits). Society has changed so much that these guys can't keep up. The American Material Dream is shot unless you are from higher class society, know somebody rich, a big bully, surely talented or a genius! lol, so many are just chilling from where they are, doing their best. So I guess it is that of becoming law abiding?

Men generally are still supporting the family. They are usually the ones that work longer hours, whereas women do not. It's slowly changing, allowing for an interesting shift in who can be primary parent and secondary parent, making it less dependent on the gender of the parent, and more based on the parents' personal philosophies.

But for how the man is still usually primary breadwinner.
