How do you get black Super Permanent Industrial Sharpie off of a Durahide leather couch?

I've already tried nailpolish remover and it has only lightened it. My son took a Sharpie to our couch before I could get him. I don't know what else to try without ruining our couchs.

try paint remover on a rag ,mineral spirit,they have a product to clean oil paint after you have finished painting but whatever you use when you finish wash the are with some soapy water

try alcohol as it will take it completely off plastic items
