How do you drink your ice tea? Sweetened or Unsweetened?

2007-07-01 09:39:52 · 19 answers · asked by Anonymous in Travel Africa & Middle East Lebanon

*****Note*****
There are two traditional iced teas in the United States. The only variation between them is sugar.

Southerners swear by their traditional sweet ice tea and drink it by the gallons. In the South, ice tea is not just a summertime drink, it is served year round with most meals. When people order tea in a Southern restaurant, chances are they will get sweet ice tea.

Outside of the southern states, iced tea is served unsweetened or “black,” and most people have never even heard of sweet tea.

sorry for the mislocated question.

Wow! Barry J hit the nail on the top. This fella has finished his homework properly. the biggest is that each region of our united states has a fashion of life that's diverse from different areas. and there is no longer something incorrect with that. i'm from the north, yet I see what those down yonder are conversing approximately, with regard to a pair human beings northerners being rude, pushy, and loud. and that i will see Barry J's element in that the liberals want to tax & spend, and absolutely everyone who opposes them are seen rednecks, neo-cons, Republicans, perfect-wingnut Bible belt idiots. some liberal communities lump all of them mutually, and make it sound like people who stay down yonder are cousin-marrying, Deliverance-certain freaks, who all chunk pink guy (even the "womenfolk"). i've got heard it lower back and lower back throughout the time of the elections...clinging to their weapons & Bibles. They made you sense ashamed in case you probably did no longer sense the way they did with regard to the flaws they supported. i think a definite kin-deliver to those that stay down yonder. they seem to be a greater genteel and laid decrease back human beings. i think of we can all learn lots from in simple terms chillin' on the front porch awhile, and actual think of issues over till now hoppin' from the fire into the frying pan. i'm no longer in all probability confident with regard to the rationalization for this north-south rigidity. so some distance as i'm worried, this is area of yankee historic previous, and needs to stay there, in simple terms like slavery and all the different evil issues that have been finished "decrease back interior the day". have not all of us moved previous appearing like hooligans? and actual, have you ever observed how that bowl of granola talked approximately as California acts? and how approximately those New Yorkers and that Brooklyn-eese? And 'dose hoods from south Chicago? each region has this is own weird and wonderful-ness, and that's what makes us all, as a rustic, impressive. include our adjustments...isn't that what the tolerance police say? <*)))><
