please only answer if you know this, but will apple one to one service teach me networking on a mac. I know that there are hundreds of free guides, but i want to know because i can get apple one to one for next to free.

As you said, there are many guides out there, including Apple's own support pages, which includes discussions forums to ask other Apple users their advice.

I was able to set up my wireless network at home fairly easily, even though I don't know anything about it or what all those acronyms mean. I have 2 iMacs and the older Apple AirPort extreme; I set the Network so that ONLY those two devices are allowed to access the AirPort. I was able to add my iPhone yesterday with little difficulty.
