Windows startup problem?

Question

basically, my pc crashed i restarted it and it came to the screen saying "windows....blah blah blah....startup in normal, safe, safe with console, go back to last known good settings etc" so basically i had no idea what the problem was and choose startup as normal.....and for some reason it restarts itself...so i choose all the options to see if any of them work, but none of them do. It just keeps restarting each time and going back to that menu of options and i cant find anyway past this menu, i think iv tried everything...so any ideas on what to do?

I don't know how old your machine is, but it might be agood idea to check the battery on the motherboard.
My HP, about ten years old did much the same, and the date time was constantly screwed up which is a good indicater of low battery.
