A plant's plastids contain its chlorophyll, which enables it to photosynthesize. If it lost the plastids, it would not be able to photosynthesize, which is the only way it can get food, so it would die.

the plastids hav the chlorophyll, the pigment which uses the solar energy, water and carbondioxide to produce food.

if the plastid is lost there wouldnt be any chlorophyll, therefore it wouldnt be able to make food.
the result of tht could be tht that life might die, unless the plants starts to store the food in tht leaf.

either wayz the leaf would die

If a plant lost its plastids, the plant would no longer be able to undergo the process of photosythensis (no more food) and it would not be able to store starches (food).
