I do not know how anyone picks a favorite Beatles song. It is almost like asking someone to pick a favorite child.
However, the only way I can do it is to do it for periods of time.
Early Beatles
She Loves You (listen to the spirit of the sound when they say, "BECAUSE SHE LOVES YOU!!" It is so passionate.
All My Loving-The best rhythm, bass, drums, and guitar solo in early rock.
Please Please Me- Pure energy and rawness.
I Want to Hold Your Hand- The most perfect harmony and the melody and beat just move you.
I'll Get You- raw power,"Imagine I'm in love with you!"
Middle
Across The Universe- sheer poetry sheer imagery.
Things We Said Today-romantic and yet not sugary
I Feel Fine-Simply classic with the feedback and great emotion
For No One-The pain is felt for the guy whose heart is broken
Here There and Everywhere-Imagine being loved like that.

Hey Jude-Take a sad song and make it better
There are just so many I have to stop writing because I can think of 20 more I would choose to listen to if I was alone on a deserted island.

I agree with sarah across the universe, I can't think of any song I like better. I really do like the song about fixing a hole though, a lot of songs of course but that's probably the best. I don't know what it means though.
