Even with the laws all due to 9/11, the USA affords its citizens with the greatest individual freedoms. It is slowly being manipulated by congress and presidents, but as of today, the USA is still the country that provides its citizens the greatest freedoms.

As far as I know only the USA has a Bill of Rights written right into the Constitution.
However the founders never dreamed there'd ever be so many local laws, ordinances, rules, & regulations, which are passed supposedly for the good of all, but actually prohibits some types of individual freedom.
The very worst of these are individual taxes, and property taxes, which in a sense enslave Americans more than many other countries.
