If you have acrobat, it should have loaded an option into MS Word that allows you to convert a Word file .doc to a .pdf at the click of a button. On my Word appl., the button was right on the tool bar. If yours doesn't show up, go into the menu selections and find it. Click on 'File" and it should be one of the options.

Just rename the file. Open it with Word, then choose Save As. When you rename it, add .pdf to the end of the file name and put it all in quotation marks. Example: "letter.pdf"
