No, just the two princes and a few of the other younger royals.
The reason given is that the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family will attend a memorial service on the anniversary of Diana's death and that the concert is meant as a tribute to Diana and her charities by the younger generation.

Why should the Queen be there - I don't understand? The princes are grown up and they have organised this themselves with the Palace's approval. Remember, that Diana was NOT a princess or a member of the royal family when she died, her son Charles has a new wife. She has moved on.

The Queen isn't , but her sons are. Because William and Harry wanted to have more "hip" performers there this year, they left out their grandmother. I mean come on would you really want your grandmother to be with you at a concert? You can watch it live on VH1.

The younger royals were there. I saw Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Peter Phillips and girlfriend Autumn Kelly, Zara Phillips and boyfriend Mike Tindall.

How is it disrespectful of the Queen not to be there.? Diana died when she was having a relationship with another man, and if she'd returned to her boys the day she was supposed to instead of being selfish and staying for another difrty two days she'd still be alive. Leave the Queen alone, she is a fine lady who loves the princes. She wouldnt forsake them for anyone, not like their mother did.

yes i think that they should be there to show respect for diana's family. It does show deep disrespect if they are not in attendance .
