Go to the following website and run their scanner. This will tell you how much memory your computer has (your 446MB), what type of memory it is, how many free slots you have available to upgrade, and how much you can upgrade to.

Are you sure it needs that much??? When I installed it I can't remembering it demanding that much memory!! I have 1Gb of memory but a lot of that is tied up on other things so it's not using that amount.
