If you view life a a series of paths it is as simple as choosing another path. If you discover the path you are on isn't a good one, stop and look around. There is always another path.
Keep in mind that all paths lead the same place. They can be paths filled with fun and excitement or ones filed with doubt and torment. You choose the one you wish to follow.
In my own case, I have chosen a new path several times in my life and am now content with the one I am on. It took time to learn that we all have the freedom to choose our own path in life but once you understand it, the way is clear for you to choose the one that brings you joy. The only thing that stops people from choosing a new path is the belief that they cannot make that change. In every case, they are wrong.

I've generally got three options:
1. Go in another direction
2. Turn around, go back the way I came and start again from an earlier crossroads
3. Lay down and die
So far I have refrained from experimenting with number 3. It just seems so final!

HAHA Ok you back up slowly now very slowly and stay calm and then do a K-Turn or U-Turn when its safe to proceed in driving and your life :)))) Retrace your steps see where you went wrong get directions if you have too and then continue on the road to your glorious and beautiful life on the road to love, adventures, joys, memories etc....When you make that wrong time you always remember never to make it again in the future a learning lessonI am sure we have all been through in this Life :))) Another good question thanks :))

Sometimes its a wrong path but sometimes you only think its a wrong path. Stay a while, explore and then if you find that its really a wrong path then try another one.
We are often too quick to pre-judge our paths in life. There are always more options available than one might think.
If it truly is a wrong path, you can always turn around and try another... and another...

I tell myself that Im only human and if I was smart, I would take the experience and learn from it. I would let it make me instead of break me! Letting my bad experiences make me, has made me who I am today and enabled me to be aware of the fact that I am still learning! If you dont let things get to you and learn from them instead, it makes such a big difference in your life overall and I think knowing that, alone is a blessing :)

I'm starting to wonder if I've taken it and it's a one way road that I can't turn around now.

Smile, because sometimes a wrong turn can lead you to a wonderful destination that you never knew was there!

I just keep moving. Yeah I take time to wallow in self-pity and blame myself and others but essentially I just pull myself together and tell myself okie...this is not where I had expected to be so we have to keep moving.

Try to correct it or at the very least learn from it.
