Month in the summer with no AC. I can fill up a cool bath and lay in it, or hang out in the local grocery near the coolers, but a month in the winter would break my water pipes, kill my plants, and be hard on the canned goods in the cabinets.

it gets -40 f here so this is a no brain-er heat is life or death ac in summer is just a luxury
