I just ripped em off the tree. Guess I done wrong, huh?

I leave the stems on, it seems to keep the gnats away, until I am ready to wash and eat them,..but either way they are great..did you pick red ones or Bing's?.......thanks

I climbed up a cherry tree with two cherries in my hand. I picked only one. I left the other one on the tree. I did not "pick cherries," because I "picked a cherry."

No, you are just saving your self a step, in having to remove the stems later..

you can do it either way but if you pick them by the stems your less likely to bruise the fruit

Just pick em, you worry too much.
Also you don't have to climb the tree.
