Will they even hire me even though I've never had a job before?

Probably SBUX will hire you as a barista. Before you go in, make sure you're up to date on all the names of the products they offer. Knowing the difference between a latte and a mocha frappucino will help LOL. Smile, show enthusiasm and a willingness to be of service to their clientele, and you'll knock 'em dead!

From what I can see in their recruitment ads, they offer good benefits and a career path if you want to move up in the ranks.

Go for it...and good luck to ya!

Any job is a first good job. You'll take something from the experience whether you want to or not. The starbucks where I live have nothing but young folks working there.

It would be sweet if you got a discount on the drinks!

Good as any - first jobs for most people are either food or retail businesses.

If you happen to apply at a time when they're looking for someone, and you present yourself well (don't apply in shorts and flipflops! and fill out the application neatly) you have a reasonable change of getting hired.

Good luck.

Yes! Most people start out in retail or the food business. Be prompt for the interview. They will ask you questions such as what are your strength and weaknesses. Be positive and stress your willinginess to learn~
