Hey there!

The diameter of a circle is twice the radius of the circle. So the radius is half of the diameter of the circle. Since the diameter of the circle is 4 inches, then half of 4 is 2 and the radius of the circle is 2 inches.

Yeap...the perimeter is 4pi inches, 2Rpi=4pi inches, so the radius is 2 inches. It is not so simple as it appears....
