Well does your wife work? If she does, then you really shouldn't have to give her anything. Same goes for her. You should both pay the bills equally according to what the two of you make and whatever's left over should just belong to yourself.

Your married and you two have not figured this out yet? Is she working? You have to figure out a budget of some kind. You know you have rent or the house payment, food, gas, utilities, all that. Then do you take lunch to work or buy it? Figure it all, ALL, in there. And go from there. If you are worried that you are giving too much, I'd rethink my relationship. It is a give and take thing. Good luck.

You need to sit down together and figure out a budget. Write down all the bills and then the household expenses such as food, yardwork, etc. See what you have after listing all of your bills, even gas, childcare, everything. What to do with whatever is left should be a decision made together. You could save it, go out together with it, or split it and do what you want with it. Marriage should be a partnership and the finances should be shared the same way as everything else in your lives together.

As much as she usually spends, if it's not going over the limit.
How much do you make? Put aside enough for bills, college (if you have children), extra money for emergencies and grocery shopping and go from there. Then give her about half of what there is left. Does she use cash or credit more? Another thing to take into account.

You should give the whole check to your wife, so she can pay the bills and buy groceries. Whatever is left over the two of you can work it out.

everything should be even....she should have access to your accounts and vice versa (if you have sepearte ones) or instead, have one joint account. The two of you should pay the bills and take care of that together, then both should know how much is left and maybe make an allowance for how much you can spend each week or each month, etc...and put the rest in savings.

Marriage is a partnership. 50/50. You both should be on one account together. If she works then her wages should go in there too. You are supposed to share everything, it's not just yours now.
