I'm not a brit, so I can't comment on top or jools, but I will say definitely OK Comp over Nevermind and Bohemian beats out Day and both leave behind the tired Stairway.

"Stairway to Heaven" AND "A Day in the Life" - both great!
I never even HEARD of any of the rest of the stuff you mention, except I remember reading in Tiger Beat and other teen magazines back in the late '60s that there was a show in England called "Top of the Pops". Micky Dolenz' (from the Monkees) first wife, Samantha Juste, was a host on the show, and that's how he met her. If that show is still around 40 years later, I didn't have a clue. It's never been on in the US, to my knowledge!

Bohemian Rhapsody, I love that song. I love Queen.
Later, as it introduces me to new bands and acts. It's not like TOTP with all the mainstream stuff.
