on the news a few weeks ago a few special needs kids were found in appauling conditions & i was moved to tears
does this happen to you, or is it just me?

I not only cannot bear to watch that on TV but cannot stand to watch pictures of violent crime that have occurred. I believe when a person watches those type of pictures repeatedly, they eventually become immune and insensitive. That is probably why we are beginning to have a disproportionate amount of young offenders that society doesn't know what to do with.

i know what you mean ,i think to see any children who are suffering in any way is heart breaking its absolutely appalling what some children must go through in there young lives they are so innocent ,and should be loved and looked after properly ,there is no exception with special needs kids they are just as precious and feel the same pain we do,i have heard so many stories about special children being abused i really just don't understand how any one could harm a child,what right do they have-none,kids are the future we must love them,

Not just you. I can not watch any program that shows ill or disfigured children. I have three children, i think it is because we know that it could have happen to any one of them.
Thank god it didn't and they are all OK and healthy

Yes. I hate the save the children etc and NSPC adverts there so sad. I'd give money to them if I could. : (
