I just saw one participant got 32 stars for asking this question:

'When was the last time you washed your windows?'

Am I missing something here?

The star thing is a good idea but it is not always used as it was intended. I use them for the same reason as Katslookup, or to have other knowledgeable people on my list answer the question so they can give good advice to the question being asked because there is too much bad information being passed out.

I star something that I want other people on my list to see. There are some questions that I am not "tactful" enough to answer, so I would rather others answer it. Many of the friends on my list live in different time-zones than I do, so they won't necessarily see a good question that they know the answer to better than I do.

I use stars to mark a question to bring it the attention of friends on my lists and so that others can see it has at least one answerer,,after I go back and vote on the question later I remove the star.
Makes easy to keep track of voting..

Stars are overlooked alot of the time...

I try to star every question I answer, but I admit that I miss alot of them...

Well, people can give you a star if they find your question interesting. Me, I give almost every question I answer a star because I figure, "It's interesting to me since I'm taking the time to answer it!"

Stars are meant to be for good / interesting questions. I sure don't see either in that question!!! Then again there are people in these "clicks" here so maybe they pass them out freely amongst themselves!! Small minded people or egotistic messed up a good thing, as usual!!! There are even "star beggars" on here!!!
