Because the ACLU wants a fundamental change in how the US is operated. That change cannot occur without a change in who Americans are. Therefore it is required that all borders be removed so the type of people the ACLU thinks would support their agenda can come in

This group no longer understands what it's original intent is.
The confusion which this organization brings by representing opposing parties of a same issue is unhealthy for our nation.
With regard to the issue being addressed, the focus has been lost as to whom the law protects.
I believe this group receives our tax dollars in some direct way.
Our citizens showed the Congress, the attitude toward amnesty, it's time to keep the ball rolling.

The ACLU is yet another institution waiting anxiously to carve up the United States like a side of beef for sale to third world countries.
Either start worrying about Americans first, or add an "I" to your initials for what you currently stand for: Illegal Aliens Civil Liberties Union.

The American Communist Lawyers Assoc was founded by communists and socialists who wanted to change our society. They are now very active in remaking our society into a secular socialist state. Many of the illegal aliens are socialists and communists, so the ACLU wants their comrades to stay. They must be stopped. They are betraying our country by siding with the illegals.

Because they are losing potential clients.
If immigrants, especially illegal ones are prevented from entering the US, the ACLU won't have as many discrimination lawsuits to keep itself busy.

Yeah. I'm a big supporter of the ACLU on everything but the Death Penalty and this. They are the AMERICAN Civil Liberties Union, but they insist on protecting non-Americans' rights to break US law. Ridiculous
