Whenever I'm sitting in class, and I try to pay UTMOST attention to the teacher, and I write down everything he/she says, and then the teacher asks us to do some questions later, I have like, no idea what to do to answer the questions, or solve the problems. But I'm paying attention! What's wrong with me? Everybody else who are like, drawing in class and who don't seem to be paying attention are able to understand the teacher very clearly, and are able to solve the problems easily. And it's not like, ONE person... it's EVERYONE in the class. What's wrong with me??? Do I have a learning disability? I hope not!!! That's just plain scary!!!!

Have you ever been tested for attention deficit disorder, that is what it sounds like to me. A lot of people have it and although it is considered a learning disability- the most intelliegent people have it. Einstein even had it! So check it out@! Schools do it 4 free

meg has a good idea, but here's the other shoe - it is possible that you just do not have the genetic brain-power to figure out what is going on. Let me explain...
The attention problem may be one cause, but you said you were paying attention. A big problem with public education is that they do not "teach" people how to THINK. And quite a few people get into university and discover they do not have the tools (have not been taught how) to think.
Because public education is so poor, people exit that institution with very bad habits, and have no idea how to "learn" - learning involves thinking, and not rote memorization.
People can appear to "goof off" during class, but they are listening, and thinking, and the later test results are a result of their thinking. You are taking "complete notes" and are unable to perform. Question - do you "know" what the prof was saying? Did you understand the points he was making? Do you know WHY he was telling you what he said?
I would suggest that your "note taking" involves too much of your time, and does not allow you to "think" about what is being said.
It could be that you do not have then genetics to understand things that are taught at university (no everyone does), or it could be something like ADD, or it COULD be bad habits that you picked up in public schools that you need to "unlearn".
You might take some time off and attend a local junior college, and take a tutor that can instruct you on how to learn - I'm sorry, but you need to figure out if it is a problem (ADD, or something else), or it MAY be that your genetic inheritance just doesn't allow you to learn very well. Hard thing to realize, but is not the end of the world.
There are those that "think" that ANYONE can graduate university, but they are wrong. Don't be fooled by them. You may need to face the reality that you have a problem (ADD, or a host of others), OR that you are just not intelligent enough. Hard language, hard lesson, but it needs to be said, and all the Pollyanna crap in the world is not going to change reality.
Good luck with your venture though this life...
Ron.

The best thing to do is to have yourself tested. The usually tests are an IQ test and an Achievement test. The school can do them. There are other tests after that that could narrow down the particular problem. Don't be afraid. There are ways of compensating for learning problems. Almost everyone has some kind of problem, but they may not even know it because they have compensated for it. Some people have mental blocks about certain things. It doesn't mean they are not smart, and smart does not mean you can do everything. Most people are good at something and you may need more help in one area to overcome it and you may learn not to plan a career in that area. Good luck and work it out! You are not alone!

Seems like you are lost in your thoughts...you think that you are paying attention but actually half of your mind is concentrating on other thoughts..
1. Go to bed early so that you are all fresh for the morning.
2. Increase sports in your activities, you can even go jogging early in the morning.
3. Wash your face and eyes before attending a class.
4. Drink fresh juice evryday.
5. Keep yourself busy by asking and answering questions in the class.
6. Discuss the problems with your teacher and friends.

signs and symptoms point to ADHD. Its nothing to be ashamed of. Remember when you were a child and being lectured by an adult, the gist of what they said went right over your head, even though you were paying attention. This is the same thing. It's easily treatable both with and without meds if you desire not to go that route. You can email me if you want more info on the subject or some suggestions on how to help manage it.
Best of luck to you! Take care

People learn in different ways. aas i recall, the styles are
hearing
writing
reading
a way i don't remember the name of, where build need to touch and build things to understand
and
deductive reasoning
inductive reasoning
It could be as simple as you need to read the notes you took before you will understand what the teacher said. and it could be that writing the notes is getting in the way of understanding.
I wish i remembered the name of the test to find out how you learn and process information - something about Individual Learning Methods, i think. A school counselor might be able to help you find and get the test.
It doesn't sound anything like ADD to me.

I get like that when I am deprived of sleep. If you were to drink some coffee or a Red Bull about 15 minutes before class I am willing to bet that you would have better luck the next time you have class.

in basic terms delight in it because it truly is, there are human beings obtainable that get grew to become on by ability of questioning of those variety of encounters. Fantasizing approximately it and actually making it take place are 2 a number of issues. Your no longer the only one that has had such strategies/myth's, I for one had gotten off on questioning of yet another guy taking my spouse, yet truly im a jealous guy that could fairly smash everyone that could even look at my spouse in that way non much less even touch her. it truly is basically a dream/myth no longer something will come of it, if it facilitates your intercourse existence in basic terms bypass with it.

Yeah, could very easily be ADD. My wife has a mild case of it.
Get tested. They have medications, or at least tricks and tools to minimize its' effect on you.
