I would like to password protect just TWO folders in OSX, not the whole computer. I know in windows you can do that, but how do you do it in OS X? (I don't want to use file vault, because then I can't print off of a network printer)

Thanks in advance!

go into disk utilty, then click new image and then name it what ever u want and put it somewhere, select aes-128 for the encryption. and chose what size u want it. then it will ask u for a password u want to set on it. then just find the .dmg file u made and open it and place the files u want to be password protected, then unmount it. every time u open it it will ask u for the password u put on it.
